The U.S. Forest Service and Argonne National Laboratory/U.S. Department of Energy have signed a Memorandum of Agreement that allows USFS staff at all organizational levels access to Argonne technical and management resources. Argonne has assisted federal agencies in developing solutions to natural resource issues and problems for over 30 years. Argonne, as a multipurpose federal research and development facility, can provide a variety of environmental science and assessment capabilities for USFS programs and projects.
