This portion of the web site provides an overview of the major legal drivers that direct the Navy to conduct ERAs within its IR Program. This portion of the web site also provides an overview of the Navy's responsibilities as a Natural Resource Trustee, and discusses the relationship among the Navy, other Trustees, and natural resource issues as they relate to Navy sites. The information provided here is not intended to make the reader into a regulatory expert.
