A model for evaluation
of sites contaminated with hazardous chemicals.
RESRAD-Chem is no longer being updated. It runs under Windows95's DOS.
Calculates cancer
incidence risks and hazard indexes to an on-site exposed individual
and derives site-specific soil cleanup criteria for hazardous
chemicals.
Follows EPA risk assessment
guidance for superfund.
Considers nine exposure
pathways: inhalation of dust and volatiles, ingestion of plant
foods, meat, milk, soil, aquatic food, and water, and dermal absorption
from soil and water contact.
The database in RESRAD-Chem
contains chemical properties, transfer factors, and toxicity data
for 151 chemicals.
A user-friendly code
with tabular and graphic output with sensitivity analysis capability.
